I see from the article below that some teachers have gotten a $2kg raise from last year….must be nice while many taxpayers are struggling to make it. The entire city has been overrun by big spending liberals.

And yet, check Minnesota’s 2013 Math and Reading scores for public school students- even from a liberal news source:

Can this be true? Duluth public school student’s proficiency in math and reading appear to have declined by 25% in the past 10 years?

Rags, did you mean to use these links?

    http://apps.startribune.com/no_child/district.php?dst=nonmetpu and expand Duluth

    AND

    http://apps.startribune.com/no_child/grade.php?DistNum=0709&DistType=01&dst=nonmetpu

Rags, do you know when was it published?

The contributor of this story is not wrong saunders. Here is some basic information from Wikipeda like it or not:

The US state of Minnesota can be divided into regions in a variety of ways.

On a basic level, the state is divided between the Minneapolis-Saint Paul or Twin Cities metropolitan area (often referred to locally as The Cities), and Outstate or Greater Minnesota.
